Popular Post Hugo9000
George Frideric Handel Coronation Anthems Harry Christophers/The Sixteen Amazing recording of glorious and thrilling music. I'm on my second listen to this CD for today. I think this is my favorite recorded performance of these magnificent works. Guidof and Musicophile 1 1 请教别人一次是5分钟的傻子,从不请教别人是一辈子的傻子 Link to comment
biosailor
This is a Blue Note Records re-issue of Benny Golson‘s ‚Benny Golson and the Philadelphians‘. Compared to the original version that appeared at United Artists, the re-issue contains four bonus tracks, one of which is ‚Stablemates‘. Even though Benny Golson is not listed among the Blue Note artists, he kind of became a Blue Note leader 😀. It‘s a wonderful album! semente 1 Link to comment

Everyone involved in compiling the image used for this cover should be ashamed. That is some supermarket beauty magazine level reconstruction of his skin and hair. Quite good digitization of recordings from the mid to late 1930's. semente, austinpop and sphinxsix 2 1 Link to comment

graham
I saw Herbie Hancock live last night with his crack band including Vinnie Colaiuta, James Genus and Lionel Loueke. I didn't know where to look. All four musicians were incredible and seemed to be having a great time. Herbie is not playing it safe on this tour. An outstanding concert. Melvin 1 Link to comment
