IMO Karajan's hair on this photo looks extremely cool, I'd love to dye mine like that if it wasn't already all grey But if I used some black color and left just these two areas on the sides grey.. hmmm.. have to seriously think about it Hugo9000, semente, rando and 1 other 1 1 2 Link to comment

Hugo9000
George Frideric Handel Serse Franco Fagioli Emelyanychev/Il Pomo d'Oro One of my favorite operas. I began my serious investigations of Handel's glorious music after hearing Serse's aria Ombra mai fu in the film Dangerous Liaisons in December of 1988. This recent recording features the spectacular countertenor Franco Fagioli in the the title role. Guidof 1 请教别人一次是5分钟的傻子,从不请教别人是一辈子的傻子 Link to comment
rando
Augér died shortly after this very personal recording of these six songs based on poems by Elizabeth Barret Browning composed for and with her by Libby Larsen. By a rather considerable margin they stand out above the other songs which were collected from recordings at the Aspen Music Festival to fill out the album. Link to comment

graham
Trio Zimmermann perform. In their words "neither an arrangement nor a transcription, but basically an unveiling of Bach’s score" Currently discounted at eClassical. I really enjoyed this. sphinxsix 1 Link to comment
Paul R
I love Al Stewart, and especially how all his albums tie in history to make listening to them somewhat magical . This is one of my favorites, and I pulled it out and was wrapped in the fun of discovery once again. I sure as all get out would not want to be Joe the Georgian. phosphorein 1 Anyone who considers protocol unimportant has never dealt with a cat DAC. Robert A. Heinlein Link to comment
