They all can sound good, and with well done conversion, even DSD keeps some DSD like qualities when converted to PCM. I try to find the best version I can, ignore the format, and just listen. I'm glad you have Kii3s. I love that system and have written several glowing show reports on them at RMAF and Axpona. I think that is a testament to the quality work of Bruno Putzeys. And I believe there is still some value in hirez over 16/44. At the end of the day, you end by agreeing with my statement to find the best version and just enjoy listening to it. https://parttimeaudiophile.com/2017/04/29/axpona-2017-kii-audio-is-under-your-thumb/ Link to comment

I'm generally okay with Steve filling space this way but I would rather have his gallery be his readers equipment and spaces not members of the press. I'm pleased with the direction he is going but it has taken more than a couple of conversations with him to get him pointed in a better direction. Link to comment

Many are too short or have backs that interfere with the ears or are not comfortable enough. I have a large storage closet that houses the bulk of my CD, SACD, and LP collection. My wife suggested not filling the room floor to ceiling with music to make it more inviting for guests. I think that was a great idea. Still looking for the right floor lamp though. Look at this like the s-curve cycle of innovation. I want people to write about topics before the tipping point. The best Steve Guttenberg can do is be a part of a late majority. In other words he is on the wrong side of the bell curve. Bringing this back on topic. Steve's YouTube video the"problem" with MQA is perfect example. Recorded October 19, 2017 he is just noticing that MQA changes the master. This was four months after I talked with Bob Stuart about the issue myself. And I noticed the issue more than a year before I talked with Bob about it. In this case Steve Guttenberg is a laggard on the s-curve. Link to comment
