Popular Post jiminlogansquare
A two-fer this evening, if that's OK. First is a fun recording I hadn't given a listen to in years and years! The cover art here really does a great job illustrating the sound inside. Roon suggested it while I was listening to something completely different: Second album, a recent release from Cleveland with the same conductor, which includes an organ concerto, "Okeanos." This is a good listen for those who find the world needs more organ concertos (and why not?).This one gets really loud at the end, which is what I want from an organ concerto. The Prokofiev 3 is pretty good, too. coot, rando and Guidof 3 Link to comment
Popular Post austinpop
I was checking this out on Qobuz, and saw it had 6 Beethoven piano concertos. Wait, what? There’s a 6th?! Turns out Op. 61a is a piano transcription of the violin concerto, and it’s lovely! Guidof, opus101 and Teresa 3 My Audio Setup Link to comment
