ronfint
Here’s a new (just released today) album from Cape Town drummer Tefo Mahola. It's his first album and well worth a listen. This is available on Bandcamp and Tidal, and presumably also on Qobuz, but I didn't check. I listened once on Tidal before buying the 24/ 48 Bandcamp version. sphinxsix 1 Link to comment
sphinxsix
Checking this one out on Bandcamp now. It doesn't seem to be the easiest Thumbscrew (Tomas Fujiwara / Mary Halvorson / Michael Formanek) album. the-anthony-braxton-project-hd-24b-441hz ronfint 1 Link to comment

sphinxsix
Yesterday I was accused of listening to incomprehensible music (frankly I didn't go through all that album but i can recommend all previous Thumbscrew recordings), today I hopefully will give nobody a reason for similar accusations Let me proudly present - the newest CD in my collection I've really had some fun with this one throughout the day (it's very nicely played and quite well recorded), why make things complicated after all.?
