audiobomber
My favourite song from The Last Waltz, possibly the greatest rock movie ever made. The vocals and sax solo could almost make you cry: Main System: QNAP TS-451+ NAS > Silent Angel Bonn N8 > Sonore opticalModule Deluxe v2 > Corning SMF with Finisar FTLF1318P3BTL SFPs > Uptone EtherREGEN > exaSound PlayPoint and e32 Mk-II DAC > Meitner MTR-101 Plus monoblocks > Bamberg S5-MTM sealed standmount speakers. Awesome performance, but I like sad or melancholy music best, and no one emotes like Danko. GregWormald
Thanks all! I haven't got through the whole thread so I don't know if she has been posted yet, but try these 2 by Diana Ankudinova. She's a contest winner in Russia. She blows me away. If you like them a search for her name in English and Russian (Диана Анкудинова) will provide many more. This girl's songs give me shivers. Greg This is her at the contest in 2018. DON'T LOOK AT HER AGE—you won't believe it. (Sorry youtube won't allow an embed.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jv-DQnf2UY And here she is in January of this year. Link to comment

Popular Post John Dyson
I wonder if I have posted this yet? This is a TRUE stereo recording, early 1940s, before Glenn Miller dies in the war -- Chattanooga Choo Choo. Be patient -- there is a switch to stereo, and a portion of the movie that wasn't played in the south. It is even FeralA -- I have a decoded copy with full dynamic range (well, still a little primitive, but sounds good) -- tell me if you want access to it. This is REALLY special... VERY early, moderately high quality stereo POP music!!! MrMoM and christopher3393 1 1 Link to comment
