graham
Excellent trio. Understated drumming on mostly original impressionistic songs. Outstanding musicians. I really like the cover art too fwiw. mkrzych 1 Link to comment
Popular Post jhwalker
Very interesting, well-performed and -recorded release from The Boston Camerata: Early American music, showing (of course) very strong influences from European (particularly Celtic) folk music. rando and Hugo9000 2 John Walker - IT Executive Headphone - SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable Ethernet > mRendu Roon endpoint > Topping D90 > Topping A90d > Dan Clark Expanse / HiFiMan H6SE v2 / HiFiman Arya Stealth Home Theater / Music -SonicTransporter i9 running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi > Blue Jeans Cable HDMI > Denon X3700h > Anthem Amp for front channels > Revel F208-based 5.2.4 Atmos speaker system Link to comment
ronfint
Here is another new release which I think is worth listening to. Don't Buy Ivory Anymore! The Music of Henri Texier / Palm Unit The bass line put down on this album is really great. It can be found on Bandcamp, Tidal, and Qobuz. Link to comment

Popular Post EuroChamp
Christian Tetzlaff, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (Robin Ticciati) Beethoven & Sibelius: Violin Concertos [24/48] Qobuz New release from Sep 13th. I "really" like it! It is to early for a final statement: Maybe it could become a true reference for me. SQ is excellent too. austinpop and Hugo9000 2 Link to comment

Popular Post Musicophile
In fight entertainment of the day: This fantastic Dvorak album by the Tetzlaff trio. I hope they will eventually release this as 2xHD remaster as they’ve already done for Tetzlaff’s Brahms trios and violin sonatas, both are musical auf audiophile gems. That said the original Ondine recording sounds already nice. Streaming redbook from Qobuz. Listening to this as part of my mini series on the 2019 Gramophone awards on my blog. Check out the articles on the orchestra and concerto categories I already published. Chamber and Instrumental will be coming soon. semente, graham, Hugo9000 and 1 other 1 3 Check out my blog at musicophilesblog.com - From Keith Jarrett to Johannes Brahms Link to comment
