The heat outside has unexpectedly greatly influenced the way I've been recently listening to the music - 4 days ago this were 2 hours of Bach WTC, 2 days ago - also 2 hours of Simeon ten Holt's 'Canto Ostinato'. Now playing quietly in the background and since this is a double album, also in this case 2hrs listening session is potentially possible.. (16-44).

This album is accessible (and very beautiful) free jazz. Unfortunately John Tchicai passed away not long after this session.

Because it has been that kind of week, the always incredible MA on SA from the incomparable Todd Garfinkle, paired with roasted tomato soup, ugly but tasty cuñapes, and a nice glass (or three) of Malbec...bliss (and these new SR Orange fuses are sounding better and better after each glass

Have been eagerly awaiting this album since I read about it's impending release a few days ago. This is my favorite opus of Handel Concerti Grossi. (There's a sentence you don't hear often in day-to-day life!)

 

Streaming now on Qobuz, and liking it!
