The title probably quite clearly describes the idea behind the choice of music for the recording and the cover art corresponds well with the passionate, intense performance of this French-Armenian violinist (24-96). austinpop Posted September 11, 2022 Share Posted September 11, 2022 Listening to more Challenge Classics albums in DXD today: I need to confirm that these are indeed native DXD, i.e. "Recording, editing, mixing & mastering in DXD (352.8kHz / 24bit)" as claimed here: https://spiritofturtle.com/collections/dxd Assuming so, it would explain the outstanding SQ of these recordings. My biggest memory is that he knew there would be people in the crowd yelling for "Layla", so to prevent it the band came on stage in the dark, wthout an intro, and hit the first famous chord of Layla simultaneously with the lights turning on.
