Rt66indierock
Cool this will increase my chances of replacing a beloved Sansui amplifier that didn't survive a cross country move. Great logo simple and memorable. The Computer Audiophile 1 Link to comment

I ask cuz not all CA users will know about Superphonica asap and I have some stuff to sell now. Thx Looks great. Ted Forehaven and The Computer Audiophile 1 1 "We're all bozos on this bus"....F.T. Popular Post sdolezalek
Chris: Congratulations on the new direction -- I recently saw some research that revealed that 60+% of U.S. unicorns (startups with >$1Bn valuations) were platforms/digital marketplaces and that number was even significantly higher (>80%) in China and India. So you are clearly in a hot space! Of course, one of the biggest success criteria for these digital marketplaces is setting up and enforcing a strong set of community rules to maintain good behavior and high product quality, something that CA already has a great start on. Best of luck! GUTB
The main differentiator with Audiogon appears to be fulfillment. Using Escrow.com seems inferior from the buyer’s perspective vs a credit card, but for very large purchases the integration is welcome. Link to comment

It’s cheaper and offers more protection that all other methods. Nobody is is blocking you from using credit cards via PayPal. Many differentiators from Audiogon, among them price. Ralf11
I was interested until I saw that Paypal is (essentially) required for individuals... https://www.law360.com/articles/10991/paypal-settles-28-state-probes-federal-suit I would not touch Paypal with a 10 ft. pole. Link to comment

It’s true that the fee structure seems very honest and not a rip-off. You know what would be cool is if @ user tags in the forum could link somehow to trusted vendors and/or Boutique contacts, or if thier user names in the forums were listed on thier store pages. Another cool feature would be if purchases could show up in a forum user’s activity stream. alcibiadesGR and Superdad 2 Link to comment
