Popular Post One and a half
Lucy Rose –This Ain't The Way You Go Out Can't not stop playing this great new album from Lucy Rose released April 19 2024. Rose is breaking away from her folk singer songwriter to a jazzy, R&B, daresay progressive change likened to Joni Mitchell's experiments. The sound image on this recording is above the speaker line, with lovely depth to the stage. Exciting to listen to instrument gems, of a trumpet, flute, sax and the gorgeous piano played by Rose. DR is a 6, but sounds more than this. Awesome achievement artistically and technically. Redbook on Bandcamp. The Computer Audiophile
Two things. As this is the album of the evening thread, with limited commentary, I'll keep my commentary limited :~) 1. Listening to the new Billie Eilish album - Hit Me Hard and Soft. I really like it, the more I listen to it. 2. Today she released a version with isolated vocals, in addition to the regular tracks. Very cool! however, it's only available for purchase/download in MP3 at 160 kbps. Such a bummer because there's no need to release such a reduced quality. I don’t quite understand why she would release a mp3 quality isolated vocal release either The Computer Audiophile 1 Link to comment

I honestly did not realize that MP3 even existed as a format that was used anymore. You would have though, like a number of deadly plagues in the past, that it had been eradicated! Link to comment
