Bill posted this on Indiegogo. I don't know how he found it or when it was recorded but it's sickeningly refreshing to hear Larry laugh at how "funny" his campaigns "business model" are: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O15cnjBKEuS6znLHmu45yW3xr2wfjsBh/view

Let's give full context (see screenshot):

Also, this was part of a conversation I had with Larry that I recorded (with his permission) in an interview style, asking him questions that people had posted on the forums. The exact question this was in regards to was:

"Jarek, you stated that "campaign funds stayed within respective campaigns" and Hercules then queried, if that is the case, why have other campaigns (eg Vi Dac, Source, remaining Pulse, etc) stalled along with the Wave campaign. "  This question, along with a variation, about why the Analog campaign hasn't moved along since it has its own money. AS WELL AS why the campaigns are all stalling, in regards to the idea that there is one singular grand reason. (there isn't) ---> which is why he said "it's funny"...because the idea that there is one singular grand reason isn't true.

At no point in my time knowing him has Larry ever laughed or made light of the campaign issues or money issues. As I pointed out in the screenshot to Bill (who WAS laughing), no one else besides (apparently) Bill think anything about this is humorous. In fact, on MULTIPLE occasions, Larry has expressed a lot of distress over the matter.

Larry, has, however, struggled with the English language and uses broken English and perhaps "wrong" words to formulate his thoughts on a frequent basis. (or used words which the internet people can jump to twist out of context unfairly and maliciously)

LHCommSquad, welcome back. And such a fast response, like one second. After weeks or months of silence. Funny. Not. Your "context" does not help me. Who is Bill to you or Larry? You offer a QA and then disappear and yet Bill gets a recorded chat? Why is Bill posting the interview instead of you? How does ESL change anything. Laughing or not, Larry says it's funny. Larry thinks his business model is "the biggest problem of all". Lots of edits. What else was said. This recording says almost nothing about big campaigns like Pulse/Source/Vi. And, etc. We'll see if your "context" comforts others.

And while laughing he still tries to manage a bit of hope for a few people to get refunded while he "still want to focus on the Wave" and "finish out" campaigns. But with no money, no support, no plan, and no etc: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O15cnjBKEuS6znLHmu45yW3xr2wfjsBh/view.

It was from a post (#5198) by stuck limo on the Light Harmonic Geek Wave thread on Head-Fi.

Those are not edits. Those are audio files from WeChat and you have about 1 minute each "recording" before you have to start another one or the program splits up the audio. No edits were done. Included is the exact conversation I recorded the audio from (see screenshot). You're welcome to time the beeps to the time stamps in the audio as you're listening.

Bill is a backer who has been across the forums demanding refunds and generally loudly expressing his displeasure with LH Labs and Larry.

Good to see Jarek is still alive. He only post to back up Larry or lh and quickly we see.

no answers on where vi dac case are or hard ware to put in cases are.

No answers to questions he asked for.

no answers to lhl own question desk.

Maybe Jarek could get Larry to post a video of where he thinks this mess is.

this could be useful

Seems like whenever a project was failing a new one was created to help generate funds....that old spreadsheet of the history of LHL is quite a read.

"Funny" isn't it?

It's hard to fathom why, when it became obvious to them that they didn't have sufficient funding to complete the projects (and it appears to have become obvious quite early on), they didn't just apologise, explain the problem, then refund what funds were still remaining. And it appears this sort of thing can be facilitated through Indiegogo.

I imagine most backers would have been disappointed and felt let down, but that would have been nothing like the loss of goodwill and ongoing aggravation created by this marathon clusterf*#k.

Yep.  Pretty basic stuff- what your mom and dad taught you when you were young.  You could explain this situation to any 5 year old and they would all get the answer right.  Larry tried, he failed and he should now return what money is left.

Have integrity, be fair, be honest.  I'm sure Larry's parents taught him these things and he followed these principles earlier in his life, but somehow he lost his way and his morals.

One point of correction- LH Labs (Larry) received way more funding than he needed to produce the various products.  They blew the doors off of the contribution threshold goals.  It definitely is not a case of them not collecting sufficient funding.  The crime here is Larry just took all the excess money, spent it on who knows what and pocketed the rest.

Through Larry's mouthpiece LHCommSquad, Larry tries to give the impression that he is still working to fulfill orders, but this is a lie.  Larry's wishful thinking does not constitute actual work and progress.  His wishful thinking is just a way to rationalize his criminal behavior.

We literally just put out 2 updates on 4/18 and 4/26 showing actual work and progress.

Lol.

Progress is a case when you already had a release candidate a few years ago.  Big deal about aptx.

How about a production update to show us "things are progressing".

When do backers get units or refunds?

Where did you post these updates?

Contrary to your contractual obligations at IGG, you haven't posted an update for the Vi Dac since SEPTEMBER 5, 2018.

And LHL, your Source updates have been proven lies for at least 15 months over which time you claimed several times to be ready to finish and ship the remaining SE models. And yet, that did NOT happen.

These are 3 updates on the Wave that the community has been discussing over the past week. They were posted over at IGG and people have been commenting on them there and around the various internet forums.

@bc2112 aptX is a big deal to those who paid for it to be included on their Waves.

@noshortcuts the software turned out to be buggy and not very polished on the Source, so they held back shipments and are working on fixing it. Wish I had better news on that front. We did hear back from the people who got their Sources that they sound great, regardless of the poor user experience.

It won't matter if there are no waves.  In typical LH fashion, getting stuck in the weeds instead of getting a unit out. Is the case 3d printed?

We wait an extra 15 months for buggy software and this is the first time it's mentioned. Literally, UNBELIEVABLE. If LHL can't get Source software working in all these years or in more than a year after a few deliveries, there is NO HOPE FOR WAVE (a much more complex machine and software).
