Firstly E.E.s do not learn about nor perform DBTs. Not that they couldn’t, it’s just not part of the EE curriculum.

What exactly is your methodology and why do you think you performed DBTs?

I don't claim to have performed DBTs. I leave that to trained professionals, as I did with Martin Colloms.

 I don't give a rat's anus about further offering the type of proof demanded in an A.E.S. type of publication.

 I prefer to let the person concerned verify what I am saying for themselves.

 This is quite easily done using suitable gear owned by many members already.

 It is a compliment for George Graves, who unlike Mansr and Marce has a proven track record with his hearing  abilities as a paid reviewer , and also professionally records Classical Music .

Because I'm using the NAD as the power amp. My first competent rig used just a CDP driving the power amp - simplicity was a key ingredient for getting the right SQ; here the elements are NAD CDP, integrated, driving speakers - I like what the NAD power stages are doing for giving me good sound, so I need to eliminate the useless stuff.

Come on, ST ... I've posted the model no. several times, even posted photos of examples of the units on your repair thread. You see, I'm one of those strange people who have an aversion to taking 5,000 photos of everything that's going on in my life, every day - I've burned out on playing with technology; I do the absolute bare minimum to get something done, and take no pleasure in making records of everything ...

You can go one conning others but not me. In fact, the picture of the NAD 304 was the same unit that was posted for sale in our own local forum. So you have nothing to show!!!  Not a single picture of what unit you own or mods you made. 

 

But I guess your contribution is more relevant and credible to many.

I’m only interested in reviewers I’ve tested myself. Paul Seydor passed, Andy Quint has passed a couple sections and a few have failed.

 

I don’t accept appeals to any audio authority sorry.
