Kien
Hi everyone, I placed order on https://shop.highend-audiopc.com/ on Apr 30 for a Pachanko Sata cable but the order has not been fulfilled since then. The strange thing is that despite many attempts to follow up the order status on both contact form and email, I have never got any response from them. I was able to chat on website twice and got the promise of responding to my emails but it never happens. Does anyone experience the same thing? or know anything happen to Highend Audio PC? Thanks. yoby
Hi Kien; I had the exact same experience as you did with Highend Audio PC. I ordered an SOTM ethernet cable from them in March, and received a confirmation email of the purchase/order. After several weeks and several email attempts I finally was able to communicate with Phil via the website chat. He kept referring me to Claudia via email, from whom I got no response. Finally, the cable was shipped but was stuck in US customs for 6 weeks once it arrived in the US. Best of luck to you. Jeff Link to comment

Popular Post AudioPhil
Hello everyone Yes it is a difficult time for everyone, thats true. Our company exists since 2013 and we've been through windy economical times before. But thanks to the support from our partners, friends and customers we are confident that also this crisis will pass and better times are ahead of us. So to answer this threads title. No, we are not bancrupt and certainly not a scam. Currently both delivery services as well as local customs worldwide are (still) under heavy load, most likely due to the COVID pandemic and a variety of their consequences. This can and unfortunately sometimes does lead to the following inconvenient events: Delay of shipping due to delivery services Incomplete (not up to date) tracking information Delay due to local customs Once an order has been processed and shippid on our side, all of these events mentioned above are unfortunately outside of our control. Regarding commuincation using email. Our Email servers are hosted by Microsoft Exchange Online and therefore running on the most recent and most used plattform available worldwide. We have externally tested both our in- and outbound path for email, and both are rated 10/10 from two different testing facilities. We properly use TLS, SPF, DKIM & DMARC, so in other words our email infrastructre is configured using the higest technical standards there are and also externally tested on a regular basis. Due to the nature of email transmission it is important to understand that there simply is no guarantee that an email will reach its target. There are just to many inedependent points involved starting with the local email provider, the email setup of the sending client (is SPF configured correctly? Is a legit email provider used which also configerd their systems properly?), many hops in between, the target email server, Firewalls and Spam-Gatways in between on all sides.. And all of this of course is run by completely independent companies which no one has any access or control to the other one. If you send multiple emails and get no reply, the chances are high that there is a specific problem somewhere in that chain, so in such a sitation we'd advise our customers to send as a DM over a forum like this one here. @Kien, as written per direct message before, your order seems to be lost in transport. As much as we can understand your frustration, there was no fault on our side at no point in time. Of course you'll receive a new shippment free of charge. @yoby We also do understand your inconvenience, but it is just outside of our powers if your package is stuck in the US customs. We are still very happy to hear your shippment finally arrived. If email were as spotty as you describe, commerce around the globe would dwindle down to a fraction of what it is now. Your portrayal of emails routinely vanishing off into the ether certainly runs counter to my experience of using email for over 30 years. If I was a current customer of yours I would be very disappointed in your response. What it did do for me however, is guarantee I'll never become a customer. AudioDoctor and retro 2 Link to comment

But you put time and effort into correcting the problems you were having instead of just saying that you don't respond to emails because a lot of the time you didn't get them. In spite of the problems that you and @Nombedes mentioned, I don't believe for a second that companies and private citizens in Europe don't rely on email any less than those of us in the US do. Popular Post kilroy
@daverich4 Do you have a horse in this race and stand to lose something, or do you just like to talk trash. No need to answer, it's obvious. I've done business with Phil for many years without any problems. If you're not happy with him for some reason maybe you should find a different post to crap on. AudioDoctor
1) I know other Europeans that do a lot of business here in the US and regularly ask folks here to email him log files and such and he always gets them and he replies in a timely manner... 2) I have sent chat messages via Facebook messenger to my college buddy while he was in the air, in an airplane, somewhere over china, and he received all of them. He also lives in Germany and has never heard of the alleged "bad European email" 3) This appears to be a recurring problem. Definitely not a good look. kumakuma 1 No electron left behind. Currawong
A lot of email I get from audio companies is marked as spam, even if I've been receiving email from them for many years and deliberately marked it as not spam. Much of the problem seems to be people to lazy to click on "unsubscribe" when they are added to a mailing list and instead flagging it as spam. AudioPhil 1 Link to comment
Todd H
Wow, this is a really poor response from AudioPhil. I regularly do business with European companies and have never had or heard of problems with emails getting lost. The excuse is a little dubious to say the least. So is the COVID delays excuse. Not that COVID has not created supply chain issues but too many people have had, and continue to have problems with very simple issues that require little effort on High-End AudioPC's part. A little courtesy would go a long way. You're just doing a very, very poor job of conducting business and I would caution ANYONE considering this company. Link to comment
