Just finished this, the Deluxe Version of Madeleine Peyroux's Careless Love. It adds a second CD with live performances from what is said to be the Festival de Jazz de Vitoria-Gasteiz / 2005

 

Very worthy addition for fans of hers.

If you know Madeleine Peyroux, you'll know why it was a toss up between going to Leonard Cohen or Tom Waits next.

I really find a lot to like in this recording of Beethoven's 9th by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

High Def Tape Transfers is a great place to buy your downloads. Let me tell you why. Not only are they great sounding but they also have amazing customer service. I realized earlier this evening that two of the albums I purchased from them were among the unrecoverable few in my recent rsync adventure. I emailed them asking about the possibility to redownload the albums at ~8pm on a Wednesday night during a holiday season. It's 8:52PM on that same night and I am listening to one of the two right now and telling you about it. That's pretty amazing customer service. I can definitely highly recommend them as a great source for your download purchases.

If you don't already have it, the other album I re-downloaded and then purchased a DSD copy of just now was the Duke Ellington and John Coltrane. I am listening to the DSD version of that right now and its marvelous as well.
