rando
Yet one can say with some confidence he appears to be listening to his power supply, cables, and headphone speakers breaking in. Or at least has removed everything unnecessary from his chain so he can hear them work I'm not personally a headphone listener but he seems to be quite the budding audiophile. Link to comment

I never once put my $15k system in the same category as a $50-100k system. Your issue doesn’t seem reality-based. Do you have a lo-if system and feel insulted? Yes you are repetitively saying that class D, electrostatic speakers and consumer grade gear etc etc sucks, but no one have appointed you a judge for what’s are good or not. You are stating everything like its fact, but they aren’t. Class D can be made to sound good, even if not as good as the best of the best class A, IME, but certainly not all sucks. Consumer grade are just gear that many people buy and says nothing about how good they are and what tech, implementation or design that are used. How is my issue not reality based? You don’t have a High End audio system in my opinion. I would not consider my audio system to be a lo-fi, to me its sound pretty good, but yes I feel insulted by your comments and the fact that you think that you are spokesman for all audiophiles and a judge on which gear and design that is good or bad. I believe am not alone to react that way. marce and christopher3393 2 Link to comment
