DuckToller
The Lebanese born singer just published a new album, again well produced by John Parish. Reminds me a lot of Melanie De BIaso, just from her voice, the music seems to bit more airy than eerie ;-) Link to comment

Streaming mp3 fragments and as much as I love the former recording (I think it's one of very few interesting albums with LC covers), I don't know what to think of this one (but I have a problem with classical singing, especially with male vocalists so maybe you need to check it out for yourself..). How did you get that? Link to comment

I spent there summer holidays with my ex GF and I also decided to give a lift to A'dam to a friend of a friend and that is how for the first (and fortunately the last) time ever I had a chance to meet someone using the same socks without washing them for 4 days (we were staying in a tent) 😎 Edit: just phoned my ex (it's 11pm..) she claims that might even have been a washing free week on his side.. 😁 The ❤️ for Tom Cora's music. DuckToller
COPPERFIELD by Phillip Boa And The Voodoo Club. 1988. Still Deutschmark (DM) then ;-) I regard this record as a reference work for the producer John Leckie. DISCOGS buy just arrived in time for this cold & rainy evening. I own the vinyl, too. Popular Post DuckToller
Everybody's working for the weekend. It's Saturday in Minnesota and the young Bob Mould, who attended Macalester College in St. Paul, met Grant Hart in a record shop one block away and they founded Hüsker Dü together with Greg Norton. Here is his Workbook, which he published one year after the band broke up, back in 1988, while he lived & worked in Pine House, Minnesota. On a sidenote: It's funny that 5 of the 9 records have joined my vinyl collection in the year of publishing, without me having any other connection to Minnesota than listening to music from it's artists ... Popular Post DuckToller
On the final Sunday of the Minnesotan week I like to present what's may be one of the greatest albums that came from Minneapolis – ever! I still have a couple of albums from Prince, however, I never found him more personal (in my taste) than on “Sign o' the Times”. I return often to this record - and it’s for me in the Champions League of the greatest albums ever made.
