Thuaveta
Get a c-to-a adapter, be done with it. It's a USB cable, as long as it's in-spec, it'll work. Link to comment

Miska
I have a Belkin C-to-B cable, nothing to complain. Took quite a while to get it when Type-C was new couple of years ago... Signalyst - Developer of HQPlayer Pulse & Fidelity - Software Defined Amplifiers Link to comment

For plain USB use, I don't feel that is is much different from normal USB3. But it has some great potential due to it's capability to carry also Thunderbolt. For quite a while I've been using external Thunderbolt HDD's, but it of course makes possible to have great audio interfaces too - on pro audio side it is quite common already, replacing Firewire. Remains to be seen when there will be audiophile Thunderbolt DACs. Signalyst - Developer of HQPlayer Pulse & Fidelity - Software Defined Amplifiers Link to comment

It has twice the bandwidth of type A connectors, though I'm not sure how common it is for devices to make use of that. Link to comment
