you use the ramsystem?
try a ramsystem reset

otherwise you're gonna have to give the crhonyd command once in a while...

I use ramsystem but not constantly! I always reset ramsystem before enabling it!

All I said above are without ramsystem!

OK... "chronyd" it is then!

let me see if I can replicate the problem you can post the result of these commands:

emerge --search net-misc/chrony

and 

rc-update show -v

How does mympd access control through the webpage? The IP of gentooplayer cannot enter the control!

I did, 

Before reboot I couldn't "gp-update". System 30/04/20

After reboot the system still in 30/04/20 but did "gp-update" without giving "chronyd" first.

After update system up to date.

I’m running MinimServer on a NUC8i3 with 8GB ram, I deployed Minimstreamer to transcode/upsample up to wav 24/384 and this is a screenshot of the activity monitor (see attached image). The screenshot is taken while playing some music. If you think to upsample up to DSD with JRiver I think a NUC8i5 should be better. NUC8i5 have a high reputation in terms of power.

@DomieMic65 .... just tried to install JRiver 26 on my Nuc8i3 and it works fine even when upsampling to 2DSD (my dac cannot do more)

CPU is 35-60% and ram 73%

I have had the ‘Tidal is temporarily unavailable’ error when logging into Tidal via Kazoo last few times. Same problem on Kazoo on both MacBook Pro and iPhone (latest iOS update).  Anyone else had this issue?

 

Tidal works fine with the same credentials in its native app.

 

Updated to Gentoo 2.13 but no luck.

My issues started several days ago. Also GentooPlayer 2.13, With MPD + UPMPDCLI controlled by BubbleUPNP, I was not able to authenticate to Tidal via UPMPDCLI. My endpoints (DIY server and RPI 4 + Pi2AES HAT) stopped working, both running GentooPlayer. I tried just about everything to get them working and I was ultimately only able to send media from Audirvana over WiFi to the renderers.

 

Today, I switched from BubbleUPNP to Mconnect, and this works. I am not sure if I'm leaving wifi completely out of the audio loop with this mconnect setup though. I have my endpoints hanging off of a router with an Etherregen in the middle, with my wireless AP bridged to this same router as the ER.

 

Not sure if our issues are related but did think it was worth mentioning.

I've never been able to login in tidal by Linn Kazoo...I've never understood how it works...

I’m on GentooPlayer 2.13 as well and I’ve installed Bubbleupnpserver too (on another server but it’s the same) and I can login to Tidal and Qobuz using Linn app, Kazoo, Lumin app (on iPhone and iPad) without any problem.

In this configuration Bubbleupnpserver take care of Tidal and Qobuz login.

If you’re using MConnect it will take care of login to the streaming services as Bubbleupnp do.
The great difference between MConnect, Bubbleupnp and the other apps with Bubbleupnpserver is that MConnect and Bubbleupnp are “active” while streaming, that’s to say that if you shutdown them while playing the music will stop, while Linn, Kazoo and Lumin are just a remote command.

This behavior is the same using, for example, Volumio or moOde as upnp renderer like GentooPlayer

Quite interesting - Tidal always worked flawlessly for me Kazoo -> Gentoo Player until recently. Tidal worked natively with Linn Kazoo using Gentoo player, no BubbleuPNP required...

 

I can run Bubble uPNP on my NAS, but would prefer to use it on GentooPlayer itself... I have it enabled but cannot access it via http://gentooplayer-64:58050/ or IP:58050

 

I'm using RAMDisk Mode 2.

 

Any ideas?

Just tried but I’m not able to login to Tidal.

Did you enter credentials only in Linn app?
