Vitor
Wow! Very good taste Manelus. Extraordinaire i must say! In the beginning God made 'the light.' Shortly thereafter God made three big mistakes. The first mistake was called MAN, the second mistake was called WO-MAN, and the third mistake was the invention of THE POODLE. Link to comment

Manelus
Audio Note is "King of timbre". Another concept, no upsampling, no filtering,.. Linn Klimax DS outperforms Audio Note only in large orchestra + HiREs. In chamber music I prefer Audio Note. Is the more "real to life" I've ever heard. machinehead
Thanks for the info Manelus. jacquesr
Hello guys, Here is my setup. By far the biggest item is the room. We dug the basement by 3' 10 years ago so I could build a great music room. Primary purpose is 2- channels, with the occasional family movie. There are no parallel surfaces, walls and ceiling are all at different angles. It sounds 3D and very holographic, especially with the V2 that have been a recent upgrade from my Martin-Logan SL-3 of yore... Enjoy! The Computer Audiophile
Hi George - Lovely system. I'm looking at the XA160.5 amps for my own system. Two questions. 1. Are your amps plugged into the BP-3.5s? 2. Does the heat generated by the amps bother you? Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
Audioseduction
Hi Chris, Yes, the heavy weights are plugged into the BPT-3.5s as I think it’s a good thing to provide the most clean virgin power possible without limiting it. Each BPT-3.5s are power regenerators in are capable to provide continuous 20A with peaks up to 60A. That’s more peak power than what’s coming out of the wall outlet alone. I have 1 amp plugged in each BPT-3.5 and each BPT-3.5 is plugged into a dedicated 20A circuit. Talk about EXTREAM low noise floor. Straight utility power is dirty and noisy. They do produce a little heat. I can lay my hand on top and feel some heat but not burning heat like a stove top. I have a dedicate central Heat/AC unit for that part of the house so I can set the thermostat where I need it and not upset the rest of the house. I leave the amps off when not listening to music. At a 150lbs each I suggest help from someone to put in place. They are not cheap to run as both pairs are 1000W power consumption and produce a little heat but is well worth it to me to get that glorious sound that you just fall in love with.
