I reflashed to V5, but it doesn't change anything, I can't access webinterface anymore.

At best I can only see the gentooplayer logo, the rest is blank.

 

Gentooplayer is running though as I can access to it with orange squeeze.

Are you in ramsistem? What mode?

I reflashed, so I am in no mode now, trying to figure out what is happening.

Ican't find it on my network now nor can access with orange squeeze (normal as it is not yet configured).

Not sure if it does make some installation at first power on ?

On first start-up, it just does a root resize and restarts a couple of times.

ok I'll reflash once more, put it in, switch it on and leave it like that around a quarter before trying to access it via webinterface.

I reflashed twice my players sd card, now on V4 so i must do it again, but the server remains in v3.xx

should I wait before I go for V5 for the server?
V.6 in the making? :) :)

An issue I have is sometimes the music bugs as if it was an old scratched vynil. It lasts for about 1 or 2 seconds then goes back to normal playing. Could it be a wrong setting in squeezelite ?

it can be...

nmap type enabled....
or alsa parameters too high....

Generally you start with a system with standard settings and make gradual changes and figure out what settings or things bother you....no the contrary....
