DomieMic65
I updated my server rpi to v5.0 but I can not mount the remote disk (NAS) I use. I tried the old method (cifs) and the new beta ones but no luck All the ip's and the share settings are the same as before also with " rm -r /mnt/samba/* " command I removed the mount every time it was not accepted Mac Mini with JRMC26 or Audirvana / Raspberry4B_4GB(GentooPlayer_LMS) / Raspberry Rpi3B+: Allo DigiOne(GentooPlayer) - M2Tech Evo DAC Two Plus/iPurifier2 - Schiit Vali 2 - Densen DM20pre/30pwr amps - Spendor SP2/3E, Sennheiser HD600 & HD25Aluminum - Audeze Sine Cables: Vovox, DIY, Furutech. chipvn
@antonellocaroli: I realized that V5.10 come with 5.10.14 standard kernel. However, it is also come with 5.4.65 test kernel. Has the low latency under 5.4.65 been implemented as standard in 5.10.14 yet? Also, do you have any latency value to compare between the 5.4.65 test kernel vs 5.10.14 standard kernel vs RT kernel? How about the difference between test kernel with timing patch vs the standard kernel? Is there any improvement in latency? I don't think... 3 hours ago, antonellocaroli said: it's the same in practice. ex. Rpi3 The standard 5.10.14-GentooPlayer-MIN-NOGRAPH result on your recent RPi3 is really good and almost the same as the RT kernel your test before on USBridge Signature. Does the 5.10.14-GentooPlayer-MIN-NOGRAPH standard kernel behave the same on USBridge Signature? Sorry cause I don't know how to test it myself. :( RoonROCK: NUC8i5 Akasa case > HQPlayer OS in HDPlex: H3V3 case - i7-12700K > Oratek TOFU Raspberry Pi CM4 - Jussi's NAA OS > Holo Spring 3 L2 DAC with Preamp > DIY EL84PP amp > Snell Type E/III speakers Ubiquiti EdgerouterX SFP / Sonore Optical Module / Linear Power Supply for all Link to comment

Zauurx
I am using version 5.10.14-GentooPlayer-MIN-NOGRAPH on my Allo Sig. It works fine (NAA DSD 256). I am on GentooPlayer 5.00-16. I will take the time to upgrade to version 5-10 to stay up to date but there is no SQ upgrade to expect. The job is already done and the maximum reached ! chipvn
1 hour ago, antonellocaroli said: yes That's great new. I have tried to us RT kernel many time on USBridge Signature without success. This new 5.10.14 standard kernel (as well as the 5.4.65 standard test kernel) could achieve almost similar latency to the previous 4.xx.xx RT kernel. This should be one of the best result for USBridge Signature. 87mpi 1 RoonROCK: NUC8i5 Akasa case > HQPlayer OS in HDPlex: H3V3 case - i7-12700K > Oratek TOFU Raspberry Pi CM4 - Jussi's NAA OS > Holo Spring 3 L2 DAC with Preamp > DIY EL84PP amp > Snell Type E/III speakers Ubiquiti EdgerouterX SFP / Sonore Optical Module / Linear Power Supply for all Link to comment
