I flashed a new sd card for my usbridge signature. And now i can not update to 5.15.61-220830. The same for my digione signature.

Does someone has the same problem ?

it's quite some time since I've updated to ta latest kernels

Since I use gentooplayer he is incredibly reactive and hard worker, perhaps too much... He surely have good reason to do a break and in fact who are we to challenge that ? We had bad habit to see him responding in 5 minutes à 3 o clock in the morning...  I juste Hope he is well.

late reply to answer my won query… i don’t think it’s an issue with GentooPlayer. 

 

I don’t quite know what is going on, but it’s like certain buggy/corrupted DSF files aren’t being read correctly when going through my Audio GD R2R DAC (but handled okay by old ESS 9018 DAC).

 

Another question — how do unmount drives?

 

Previous GP versions allowed me to type in commands (like umount /dev/sdc1). 
(I have some issues when I shutdown and boot up again — not all my drives show up each time, so try to avoid shutting down when I can, but need to update my library the old fashioned way) 

 

P.S. Filippo ( Antonlllo Carolli) has been amazingly supportive having stepped in and fixed my computer numerous times. I am incredibly grateful for the efforts he has put in making such a great system. Hats off to the man! 🎩

Je me suis demandé si Antonellocaroli était toujours développeur de Gentooplayer parce que j'ai flashé une carte sd suite a l'acquisition en licence a vie sur ce système il y a 4 semaines et depuis il m'est impossible de mettre à jour vers le dernier noyau. Je l'ai sollicité par mail il y a 3 semaines vu que je n'avais pas le service attendu. il m'a alors dit qu'il s'agissait d'un beug et qu'il le corrigerait aussi vite que possible. D'où mon interrogation légitime à ce jour. J'espère tout comme vous qu'il aille bien...

Clairement depuis quelques mois il est beaucoup moins actif. J'ai entendu dire qu'il avait des pb de santé.

La question est sans doute : est ce vraiment bloquant de ne pouvoir faire cet update ?

De toute manière vos exigences ne changeront rien à la réalité, un petit projet aussi confidentiel a la solidité de son mainteneur.

Chacun s'imagine le plus important du monde surtout quand on est un client français, pour vous renvoyer votre amabilité

Moi, j'ai deux licences permanentes qui ne se font plus et qui me permettent de faire tourner GP sur 15 machines en même temps. C'est cinq fois plus que ce qu'il m'en faut.

En attendant les mises-à-jour, on peut utiliser les vieux noyaux et les vieux kernels. Ça n'a pas beaucoup d'importance, le son est toujours très bon.

I have GP running in my macmini as host and in my RPi3+ as Diretta target.

The both machines are LAN cabled in a switch but Id like to try connect host and target directly but I don´t know how do this.

I tryed a USB/LAN Ugreen dongle in the host. It´s recognized by the system but Diretta can´t see the target.

 

Any help with this?

Try fideling with System Base config - Network Bridge on host. And maybe switch LAN cable from dongle and macmini
