I need to remind myself to come here more often. Lots of great musical suggestions with respectful replies and no contentious banter. It is like coming into a peaceful walled garden in the middle of a civil war.

I lived in Berkeley around 1972-73. We used to walk to a very church nearby, really more of a chapel as it was quite small, where we heard Nikhil Banerjee play twice. His music was truly transporting and made Shankar feel like a pop star in comparison.
