steveoat
Initially, only limited to iphone -- no IPAD. Without support from hardware streaming vendors, not sure how much impact this will make - - although it looks potentially interesting. Wondering if they will be the first to stream the Hyperion catalog, which has been taken over by Universal Music. The Computer Audiophile 1 Link to comment

Hopefully Apple will listen to classical connoisseurs and those who listen on more than an iPhone. Perhaps iPhone will enable more discovery and good metadata. jhwalker 1 Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
Popular Post FIndingit
I am a classical listener and Hyperion is the only big label Qobuz has been missing. I have probably never found a label missing in the Qobuz catalogue (you just need tricks to use their search function), individual albums certainly, but what are the 3 millions tracks Apple adds to Qobuz catalogue is intriguing. If we assume Qobuz has 2 millions classical “songs”. TFEC West and The Computer Audiophile 1 1 Say NO to ROON Link to comment

rodrigaj
As an ex-Primephonic subscriber who was kicked off the service by Apple's purchase, this is a big disappointment. No iPad App. No SpotifyConnect-like functionality. Admittedly, Primephonic did not have this either, but they at least were working on it when the sale went through. I'll stick with Spotify. Same I think on Tidal. Link to comment

FIndingit
The exclusive albums are so far House productions of famous orchestras and some DG and HM thrown in. Qobuz never had the Vienna Philharmonic house label I think, but is it going to loose some LSO or Royal Concertgebouw albums now, probably. Say NO to ROON Link to comment

The Computer Audiophile
Apple Music Classical enables one to search for Dolby Atmos versions of albums. Apple Music (regular version) doesn’t allow this. Very nice feature. Jud 1 Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
