I am so looking forward to adding Atmos to the HT in 2023 to further enjoy some of these recordings.

I cannot wait.  Right now I am running a relay race to finish a remodeling project and planning my system.  There are too many batons to pick up.

I'm loving all these, but have a special place for Morten and Ulrike's recordings since I was somewhat instrumental in getting NativeDSD to offer these, in both Auro-3D and Atmos.  👍  I've been chatting with both of them and, especially in the case of Morten and his 2L catalog, been diving into previously unheard immersive stuff daily.

 

Chris, can you do me a favor and check your Thriller 40th stream; I posted on the quad forum that I thought the bass (especially LFE) was somewhat lacking.  I even worried my dedicated LFE sub (I have two others that do redirected low frequencies) was a problem, but when playing other sources it was fine.  FYI.

Hi Ted, Thriller 40 doesn’t have much content sent to the LFE.

Anyways . . 
Nobody in the industry has shown the way remotely like Morten Lindberg.
And we are talking 2 decades and not just the recent Atmos fad.
All his recordings are stunning.
Think goosebumps and tears.

I try to by as many albums from 2L as I can - if I remotely enjoy the music.
It's so rare that you get to give money directly to the "influencer" who is leading the way in the direction that you desire.

I was trying to buy the discrete channel version but the pull-down menu didn't show the option...

Hey @ted_b The album is showing up as 24 bit in macOS > Get Info. Is this correct? I don't care if it's 24 bit or 32 bit, but I thought the site said 32 bit.

VLC is howing 32 bit, but it's unable to read the CODEC information like the track from Morten below.

However, VLC shows 32 bit for everything. Here's one of Morten's tracks that's 24 bit.
