Andrew Neville
I have a problem with my new Allo Digione Signature player. I am using Volumio and if I connect my TV with an HDMI cable I get sound, but using a digital RCA cable to my Teddy Pardo DAC there is no sound and the green light on the DAC that indicates data is not lit. I am at my wits end! Can anyone help? Andrew Link to comment

jcbenten
I know nothing about the device but did you disconnect the HDMI cable when trying to play to the TP? Maybe something in the hierarchy that does not allow simultaneous digital connections and chooses HDMI. Andrew Neville
No the HDMI cable is not connected. Only the RCA digital cable to the TeddyDac. Link to comment
davide256
I suspect its a Volumio misconfiguration issue. You should see the Allo Digione board as an available output device in Volumio and it needs to be selected as the audio output. What do you see as available audio devices and what is selected? CrushingIt
The Sig board has no hdmi output so you were only using the rpi to connect to your tv. When you powered up the Sig, did you power the clean side first and then the rpi? It has to be done in that order. Is your power supply on the clean side meeting the voltage requirements? Every issue I've had with the sig has always been with power....me messing something up. It sounds great though! Link to comment
Andrew Neville
Yes I used the HDMI to check the RPI and to check Volumio. Both OK. Yes to the other questions too, clean side first. The voltage is 5v for both the RPI and clean side. I can’t work it out. Link to comment

onionhead
I am having a similar issue with my Allo Digione Signature, no sound. Rpi 4 with moOde player with standard RPI 4 wall wart connected to dirty and Nirvana connected to clean side. Had this unit since late August 2020. Beginning in November seemed the audio output didn't sound correct and would play for several minutes and then stop. I would reboot the RPI and most times that seemed to work. However, at this point I am not able to have any audio output. Any suggestions? Timothy Ivie Link to comment
gadio4533
You may have to change the audio output from your tv to PCM from digital. My dac doens't support the video digital formats. Link to comment
