Hi @antonellocaroli

I end up upgrading flashing another sd card.

Does the setting below still apply for use with Allo USB Singature (Roon Bridge or Squeez R2), or do we have better options with V6.0???

5.10.14-GentooPlayer-MIN-NOGRAPH+
profile2

BTW what you guys use with Roon, Squeezelite R2 or RoonBridge??

Thanks

I have installed gmediarender. Audirvana detected it and it was working - device name: gmediarender. Now she can't detect it. Mpd / UpMpdCli detects fine as - device name: gentooplayer. Player Setting / GmediaRender - audiocard my DAC. How to fix it ?

upmpdcli is detected as "GentooPlayer-Upnp/Av" (or similar)
gmediarender as "GentooPlayer".

Just to say that the GMrender DLNA option sounds really good.  Is there any chance of making it a standard option for Pi 3 builds?

putting other software on rpi3 means problems with the ramsystem.
Then it should be the user who removes software he doesn't need in order to use ramsystems. An operation every 3x2 creates some problems.

So actually I don't know which is the best solution.

willing to update to V6.0

I first disabled RAM system then ran gp-update.

Then I can't run gp-version-update, here is the message:

"Failed to load script info. Try to reload the page. Error message:
Failed to connect to the server "

I thought it may be due to Profile, so I wanted to set to standard profile but it isn't working:

"/opt/.gentooplayer/web/scripts/profile.sh: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.33' not found (required by /opt/.gentooplayer/web/scripts/profile.sh)"

I can not even re-run gp-update:

"/opt/.gentooplayer/script/gp-update.sh: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.33' not found (required by /opt/.gentooplayer/script/gp-update.sh)"

Is there a way to solve or do I need to re-install V6.0 from scratch?

There is no version update.
Or I add another type of kernel and the boot partition now has another size.

The error you have can be fixed by updating glibc.
