Just a quick note: I removed the chatgpt posts becuase I don't believe in stealing other peoples' work, word smithing it, and making money off of it. That's what Ai does. We pay for the writers and the travel and years of hard work, while OpenAI scrapes the data, changes it a bit, and sells it. Not cool.

Thanks Chris I don’t want AI in any of my threads. Especially the upcoming stuff about what I believe about audio.

 

I will raise your point about ethics later today in an AI seminar later today.

@The Computer Audiophile I also appreciate removing synthetic posts. Communities like AS will increase in value in the future if 100% of the content begins and ends with humans.

NONE that I ran into, unlike last year. There were some rooms using Tidal, but that is all they said.

 

The big thing was there were TT's everywhere. Even in the marketplace, vinyl was what most resellers had.

I heard zero mention of MQA at the show.

I was in one room where they played an MQA file as it showed up on the display. No one mentioned it or took notice of it. That was the only time in three days.
