Description

Offered for sale an audiophile stereo system that rivals the best available. This system would cost over $66,000 new. The music source consists of the most recent high definition streaming technology (Qobuz) in conjunction with a Topping D90 DAC. The signal proceeds from the DAC to all tube Atma-Sphere MA-1 mono amps for the upper midrange to highs and to a Behringer signal processor to be split for the lower midrange and the lows. The lower mid range signal is amplified by an Adcom amp designed by Nelson Pass. The output from this amp and the output from the MA-1s feed bi-amped SoundLab M-2 electrostatic speakers which cover the full audio spectrum except for the bottom two octaves. The lowest octaves are reproduced using a summed signal from the processor, amplified by another Adcom amp that feeds two SoundLab B-1 electrostatic woofers.

The result of all of this is unbelievable realism. Of course, the sound can only be as good as the music source. Luckily Qobuz has a large library of very high definition musical content.
