Anyone having any issues with sudden crashes whilst playing back files. I keep getting crashes on a very regular basis.

When using a 2.5.x version I dont have any issues. I have sent a report off to Damien via his website hopefully he will shed some light on the matter for me.

Also when playing Tidal via the ipad app I dont seem to be able to click on the artist or album links which displays as info text, its normally the underlined bold blue text, is this the norm?

Sources are: Mac Mini 2010 / Nottingham Analogue Hyperspace c/w Jelco 750 D and Denon DL 103 MC cartridge. Phono Stage: EAR 834P. Power Amp: Audio Note Empress Silver into a Hattor passive pre. I went to File - Library - Compute ReplayGain... select all, wait... all good.

Today i look again and they are still 57 albums saying not done...

but when i go and check those with info panel on, the replaygain info is there...

I select them all again and click analyze, but they always stay there...

the only pattern i see in those there, is that they are 90% of 24/96 and 24/192, one 32/192, and a couple of 16/44.

Also Damien, can you give us a little info about the "Optimize Database" in the same menu... is it useful if we started from scratch? Does this really defragmented the hard disc MAC or PC formatted or just your database? Scary a bit the try it since all is good now... This will affect the audio files in real i guess?

Thank you again.

browsing my albums, opened one and looked at its tracks, clicked the artist to bring up others albums I have then, from there, clicked "Library" to continue exploring but... I'm back at the top of my collection :-/

can we, *please*, go back to last viewed album instead? ;)

Done (for beta 13).

For Qobuz favorites, I'm not able to reproduce the issue. The displayed album is always visible...

Optimize database operations are all on the database file.

For those knowledgeable in SQL, the defragmentation is the vacuum command.

The 1st level is a reindex command on both the table indexes, and the full text search.

for issue No. 2... try expanding "the list view" (tracks list) so that only *one* row of albums is visible ;)

When expanding the view, it moves up the albums view, so hiding the top row. But after, selecting an album shows it correctly. Do you get something different?

it only happens in Qobuz Favourites (doesn't in Library) and only when clicking an album which in the first 3 rows

scroll your favourites to the top and make it so that, when expanded, tracks list only leaves visible one row of albums

here is what I'm getting:

Is there a way to prevent having A+ filling in the Album and Album Artist fields with the folder names? Taking just what is in the file?

I have tons of old mp3 files (I used to be young...) in folders and they just have the title and artist fields used, sometimes a cover. If no cover, they get the one of the first file in the folder... Again not what I want.

One of the folders is '79 - '89, I have a "clever" playlist with that criteria for the path (contains) that is working with 2.5.3 and not with the 2.6 betas.

The local library artwork loads instantly and much quicker than the previous.

I do find that the Tidal library artwork takes about 8-10 seconds to load the first screen and the same again to load further screens. Is there anyway that an offline cache could be built/saved?

Qobuz, Favourite Albums: click an album to reveal its content and... album's list scrolls down with selected one going out of sight :-/

+1

This happens for me in Tidal and Library album view. It is a bit intermittent but can easily recreate it on demand.

DSD format can't be edited. No volume control can be applied to it, so no ReplayGain.

Is there some way to deal with this other than by ReplayGain? Perhaps in the A+ preferences? It would have to be a global change for all DSD files, I guess, but that would be very helpful. I generally bump up my DSD files by about 4db on playback.

Audirvana does not work well with the Dirac Live 1.2 Plugin, it is cut when you change resolution. Is it planned to fix it?

Are you using the Audio Unit version of Dirac Live? If not, you may want to ask Dirac to get it as it works much better than the virtual audio device application.

But A+ takes the folder names when the information is missing from the file.

So how do you want the album title to be guessed as this information is missing?

Hello

I am using the new Dirac Live 1.2 plugin 30 days trial version. This version supports up to 192 KHZ. I have ruled out problems of my OS version (mavericks) since the plugin works correctly with JRiver. The problem with Audirvana is that when you select tracks of different resolution the sound is cut off and you have to restart Audirvana

Are you running a Dirac Live application and set Audirvana Plus to play to it? Or selecting Dirac Live as a Audio Unit plugin in Audirvana Plus, playing then directly to your audio device.

The other player is not using the advanced optimizations of Audirvana Plus like Direct Mode, that's why the virtual device hack can work fine there.
