I understand but audiophiles know that is not proper.

It's all about the room!

PS: In several hifi-forums you'll get the tips to pair your B&Ws with McIntosh gear.
I have had that excact experience in an upmarket HiFi shop in Paris, when looking for an amplifier for my 805s.

Never heard a Mac-B&W combo I have liked. With Classe, yes, after all that is what they use to voice B&W's in the factory, if I remember correctly.

McIntosh and S-F sound great together (they are the same company after all).

It would be interesting to know if this condo is being sold by someone who lives there or if it's new construction, on the market for the first time.

If it's being sold by the current owner, that's probably his gear being displayed according to the stager's dictates. I'm sure he's neurosing  about how much of the audiophile world is now mocking him for his placement of the B&Ws and for attempting to play his system without speaker cables. If the gear was supplied by the staging company, I'm impressed that, in addition to pristine sofas, bland but expensive-looking artwork, and healthy houseplants, they have an inventory of top shelf audio equipment to use as "props."

Are you basing that on looks?

Just looks.  I would never comment on the sound of something I have never heard.
