Never heard of them. Sal, you need to get out more. I think I've seen them in every drugstore and Supermarket I've been in - even in the States. If you place Ferrero Rocher boxes (with the candies) at all the first reflection points in your listening room, they will eliminate the "digital sound" and all your digital playback will sound like it is analog. Popular Post firedog
I've never understood why so many people in audio have to turn it into something like a religion: "only technology X works, anything else sucks". When anyone who pauses to think for even a few seconds understands that there are lots of different pathways to good sound, and in addition, what one person thinks sounds "natural, like the real thing", another listener thinks sounds "artificial". And vice versa. Different people, different tastes, different ideas of what sounds good. What is so difficult about that? The Hershey Company, known until April 2005 as the Hershey Foods Corporation[4] and commonly called Hershey's, is an American company and one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in the world. Its headquarters are in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which is also home to Hershey's Chocolate World. It was founded by Milton S. Hershey in 1894 as the Hershey Chocolate Company, a subsidiary of his Lancaster Caramel Company. The standard Hershey's milk chocolate bar is about 11%cocoa; very low in comparison to many other bars and accounts for it's not very good taste. It was in it's day a classic US manufacturing item - take something more expensive and make it cheap and affordable to everyone by lessening quality. As a result it became the US standard and what most American's thought of as "chocolate". That's fine, but the result isn't very good in terms of actual taste. A classic Hershey bar won't win many blind taste tests. It's success in the market was as a result of low price and a consistent standard at that price. That's why Hershey's now also makes higher end chocolate bars, b/c they know their classic bar is basically cheap crap. It is in engineering books, or part of education, or available in free software for simulation, or testing yourself. You cannot state someone is projecting their misunderstandings if you lack the capability to understand the simple engineering information presented to you. At no time, have you ever asked a question or challenged the engineering statement, but continue to state it makes nonsense. Again, some of the concepts are so simple, it is painful (embarrassing) to state them, yet you fail to understand them. Regards, Shadders. Shadders- I don't want to get involved in your argument with AN, but you do realize he knows a lot of science, and has a scientific background? So even if you disagree with him, it doesn't make sense to say he is anti-science, etc. Audiophile Neuroscience and Bill Brown 1 1 Main listening (small home office): Main setup: Surge protectors +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Protection>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three BXT (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments.
