Where would you find something to drive the I2S LVDS interface at DSD1024? It is the highest res DSD you will never hear lol.

Maybe something that HQ Player can upsample to in the future..

indeed, and not had lots of opportunities to listen, so it has been on a source loop and listening to telly of an evening up till now :)

I am generally happy with it, but from recent memory its not quite same performance as my Vega/Taurus setup, some more running in may help. Also I have no access to ultra high def material where I would expect it to perform better.

Having also recently moved house, I have most likely lost some perspective for comparative testing.

perhaps better waiting for a more appropriate review from another source in meantime.

Heres two new reviews both very good and worth reading: this one Polish

This DAC is certainly looking good on paper possibly better than the Benchmark Dac3 soundwise.

I'm looking at the Holo Spring or this Dac. The x-Sabre does have two good things its a preamp and it can take PCM upsamples to 768.

'The Burras' has owned one since January, he could offer an overview of the sound.

I have been using this for several months and am completely happy.  See sig. for my chain in which it is used. Detailed, clean, minimal coloration yet nicely musical.
