Qhwoeprktiyns
In anticipation of Mosaic's new box set on Lennie Tristano, I've been listening to a lot of Tristano and his disciples... Here's a nice Lee Konitz performance, from 1956: "You'd be So Nice To Come Home To" He recorded many version over the years, but I really dig this one. The recording seems to be the first time that Konitz recorded on tenor saxophone (usually playing alto). As a result, he is quoted in the liner notes saying that the date produced "one of the most spontaneous feelings I've ever had". https://open.qobuz.com/track/7036207 This is available on the Mosaic set: https://www.discogs.com/master/961894-Lennie-Tristano-Lee-Konitz-Warne-Marsh-The-Complete-Atlantic-Recordings-Of-Lennie-Tristano-Lee-Konit Link to comment
