Confused
There is a lot going on with politics in the UK at the moment. OK, this is most definitely not a topic for this thread, however, as a consequence of the political turmoil the ratings for UK television news and political programming is ever increasing. Apparently the number one slot is now taken by the BBC's "News 24". Anyway, although we have some terrible politics here at the moment, I would offer the counterbalance that we have some cracking BBC theme tunes. Here we have the theme tune to "BBC News 24", with both the original performance and the official BBC extended club remix. ('tis true) Both versions feature the "BBC pips" which were first introduced in 1924 as a means of broadcasting an accurate time signal from two mechanical clocks at the Royal Greenwich Observatory. The pips are still broadcast on the hour by the BBC to this very day. So that's the UK at the moment, terrible politics but some cracking BBC theme tunes. rando 1 Windows 11 PC, Roon, HQPlayer, Focus Fidelity convolutions, iFi Zen Stream, Paul Hynes SR4, Mutec REF10, Mutec MC3+USB, Devialet 1000Pro, KEF Blade.
