NOMBEDES
With the closing of concert venues, coffee shops, bars. restaurants etc, what will the musician do? Most acts don't make sufficient money from recordings and streaming to pay the bills. I believe the majority of their income is derived from live performances. Very sad. This is not permanent, you know. Things will get back to normal at some point. Look at China. The infection rate is dropping daily (if we are to believe Chinese Government figures). It may not be permanent, but the situation is likely to be with us for at least several months. People need to be able to meet basic expenses such as rent. For a lot of people out of work due to COVID-19, the situation can be extremely if not deadly serious. Government or government assured assistance is a necessity.
