I tried listening to Sgt. Pepper and also got a high pitched screeching noise, but decided it was a remastering of the audience sound effects.

Every time I try to listen to The Beatles, I am reminded of why I hated them the first time around.

I got your joke, but I had to check anyway.  No crashes or screeching noises.

No electron left behind...

It was only partially a joke.  I had an issue where in the middle of the playback, I got a loud buzzing instead of audio.  (Audirvana with free trial Tidal embedded.)

The Abbey Road Remastered works for me via A+.

Late 2012 Mac Mini (10.13.6 on SD card; 16gb RAM) > Audirvana+3 > Heimdall 2 USB > JSGT/LPS-1/ISORegen > iFi iDSD Micro BL > Pass Labs INT-30A > DeVore The Nines! + REL Strata III

I found out that I can play the album if I start from song 2.

But song 1 still crashes A+ as soon as it finishes downloading.

No problem here, either.  Upsampling to PCM 384/32, playing via DLNA to microRendu to LH Labs Pulse Infinity DAC.

Headphone - MacMini running Roon Server > Netgear Orbi wireless > Blue Jeans Cable Ethernet > mRendu Roon endpoint > iFi Audio xDSD + iFi Audio xCAN > Focal Elegia

Home Theater - Mac Mini running Roon Server > Blue Jeans Cable HDMI > Pioneer Elite SC-81 > MartinLogan Motion series home theater speakers + M&K subwoofer

Well, it still works for me, sorry @AudioDoctor I tried to stop listening to Abbey Road but ended up listening to the entire album. Thanks for the excuse and hope you get everything sorted out. Paul's bass on I Want You (She's So Heavy), wow.
