My amplifier goes to 11. Actually, it goes to 400k via internal limitation and 1.2 without. I am wondering if I would be best served by using AES cables for the analog input, vs plain old XLR cables, due to the former's technically superior handling of higher frequencies? Also, might an unshielded XLR cable work better, due to its reduction in stray capacitance? The set up is fully balanced without a transformer in sight.
Perhaps, there are some Spectral owners in the house.
