Ozzie
Is it possible for HQP library pane to load metadata from the internet when a CD is loaded into it like iTunes? I like to play CDs instead of ripping it and then playing it through the HQP. It currently shows Track 1, etc and no info. Link to comment

Miska
It would require me to pay for subscription for such service. I'm not sure if there are enough HQPlayer users playing CDs that it would justify cost increase in HQPlayer license price. Ozzie
Ok, thanks. Aren’t there any free services out there? I could have sworn there were a few. FreeDB isn’t really free? What if we entered our own personal email address so that you don’t have to provide a commercial connection? EAC does this. They just have fields to enter the FreeDB server connection. I think you can then get away with it. Link to comment
stefano_mbp
Daphile, that is totally free, offers the same feature and can lookup cd information on CDDB database and MusicBrainz … and there is is the eject button too … Stefano My audio system Link to comment

And many of the free ones have so many errors and junk. I noticed this when ripping my CD collection... 8 hours ago, Ozzie said: FreeDB isn’t really free?
