Popular Post sphinxsix
A slightly untypical blues - IMO quite an amazing version, just check this out, guys! Justin Johnson: I've always loved the heavy blues influence in Jack White's guitar playing, and the original recording of "Seven Nation Army" is a killer hybrid of bluesy slide guitar and analog punk. I wanted to take that all the way back down the Mississippi, and give it the full Delta Blues treatment. The melody and bassline sound simple until you try playing them at the same time. I think you might like this one: "Cuttin In"- Roomful of Blues, 1994 Frank Zappa stated that "Watson's 1956 song 'Three Hours Past Midnight' inspired me to become a guitarist". Watson contributed to Zappa's albums One Size Fits All (1975), Them or Us (1984), Thing-Fish (1984) and Frank Zappa Meets the Mothers of Prevention (1985). Zappa also named "Three Hours Past Midnight" his favorite record in a 1979 interview. Iving 1 Link to comment
