sphinxsix Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 Just got to know, sad indeed. IMHO every musician who participated in the recording of 'Kind of Blue' should have his monument.. I will only add he continued his recording career for 50 years after 'KoB' among other activities being the heart of Wynton Kelly Trio rhythm section together with Paul Chambers and next accompanying Sarah Vaughan from 1970 to 1978. Here playing 'Kind of Blue' material with his So What Band at the Hay festival, 2009. Link to comment
