Logitech Media Server and HQPlayer Embedded

Hello All.

At now. Localhost:8080 works and with user and pwd i'm in. So hqplayerd  ok. At now no Key in. 

But the problem Is that

Lms don' t see the player. ( Neither LGTv)

I put all suggested changes in plugin .

What i could check?

I’m using Daphile and the plugin configuration is the same ….

you need to select the binary, apply

then generate the Configuration file

set Streaming options/http mode to fixed, apply

restart the plugin

.

now HQPlayer should show up at the bottom of the plugin page

Unfortunately I don’t know where to look too, you can try to uncheck one of them …

At a first sight I should say that nothing else is to be changed, maybe you can add some codecs in UPNP player audio capabilities 

These are the codecs I have defined

dsf,aac,ogg,ops,ogf,flc,alc,wav,aif,pcm,mp3

For now i must resolve two unespected problems.

First. Volume. I Need a fixed volume when sistem go. How could i have?

 

Second. Plugin tidal in LMS dont' work. After login in mysqueezbox, from lms It Is impossible plays tidal.

Go to Settings/Audio and select your player and Audio

then set the parameters as shown here and click on Apply

.

For Tidal you need to go to MySqueezebox.com, login, find in App Gallery Tidal and install it

then configure it

.

I cannot be more detailed as I don’t use Tidal, I just tried it some time ago

.

No, the plugin is needed of course

I did It for two times. But maybe i dont know how i could remove at all before reinstalling

there would be a change.  very interesting and useful.  I have linux 21 Vanessa.  It would be useful to install Logitechmediaserver and hqplayerd directly on boot before logging. has anyone done this?

In the end everything works and music plays.

I have two questions more, please.

The first: Logitechmediaserver , UPnPBridge, Hqplayerd in linux mint 21 start after log in .
It is possible to make them start on mint startup before the log screen?

it is a great convenience as when the PC is turned on you could listen music with great simplicity without sitting down at the computer.

This Would be perfect for Wife and "kids"

 

The second: my sistem:

ntel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400 CPU @ 2.90GHz, (support o AES AVX AVX2)

15.8GB RAM, Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630,

could i use Emebedded AVX?  This?

hqplayerd_4.33.3-151avx2_amd64.deb

hqplayerd is easy to get started at boot time, assuming network setup is such that it actually comes up during boot, instead of just user session.

"sudo systemctl enable hqplayerd"

Then the service is started automatically at boot.

 

I usually run hqplayerd service under headless Ubuntu Server 22.04, so not sure if this will work with Ubuntu/Mint desktop variants. Because on desktop systems network settings are managed in a different way through GUI.

Hi. Lms settings have only , again , 1.82.2.

Or are there settings unknown to me

Should i copy the unpacked File in usr /share /squeezboxserver /plugins

but the folder is empty. (now) so the installed pplugin 1.82.2 where is?

Another question : Unlike what the old LMS pc did, now, with new computer , if i select a single song, or an Album, after that  just finished song or album, music stops.

 

I don't think is UpnpBridge. (see pictures)

Maybe, IT is some LMS settings?

The networkaudiod seems to crash when being asked to stop playback. I would recommend to take a look at what happens at that end.
