I think if you look again you will see that if you order the bundle you get a straight up discount when you buy; the rebate is for buyers who previously bought both a Regen and a LPS-1, and are now ordering the ISO-Regen.

Actually, when the Regen came out, John said it is possible 2 in series could have a beneficial effect, as the 2nd one could benefit slightly from getting the cleanest signal possible. Even a Regen has "self noise", and this might be lowered slightly by connnecting 2 in series.

Depends how you set up Roon. If you let Roon use its genre tags on your library (in addition to yours), it totally integrates Tidal with you local library - seamlessly. There is a slight delay between new material being available at Tidal (Tidal app) and on Tidal through Roon. Roon says they are working on ways to make their database updates from Tidal shorter. Eventually it will be reduced to a gap of hours.

It's not a yes or no question b/c no one has heard them together. Do you want an answer based on pure projection and speculation?

 

Your whole set of assumptions is incorrect. Designers think they know how their designs will sound, often when they hear them they realize the sound isn't the one they imagined. What if you are given a yes answer, buy the product and then the answer turns out to be incorrect? 

 

Who will you blame - Alex, John, or Jesus?

 

I sometimes wish companies would give us NO heads up before a product is ready for sale.

 

 Comment NOT directed specifically at Jason: People get too anxious demanding all the answers that the companies aren't willing to provide before final product is ready.  Just have a little patience, people. You don't have to have every product the day it is released. Ask yourself if you might be better off waiting till you hear reactions to the product or read reviews.  What if the reaction to the first batch is: "it only makes an incremental difference". Will you still want to spend $1K on it?
