same same but different Posted June 16, 2012 Share Posted June 16, 2012 1. Bitperfect output for 44.1 confirmed using HDCD ripped tracks. The HDCD light on my Marantz SR-6003 receiver comes on when I play HDCD tracks. Light doesn't mean it is bit perfect. It is just 44/16 flow. Link to comment

Seeing he is actually head of Apples audio division now I'm assuming he has a bit of say on what this new piece does and doesn't do, such as being able to pass a bit perfect signal.
