The Computer Audiophile
I just spoke with someone in the industry about a company called VTV, who builds custom class D amps using whichever modules you want. The results are great, I’ve been told. Anyone have experience with this company? https://vtvamplifier.com Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
DuckToller
The do use the standard Pascal, PuRIFi and Hypex module for integration, like Apollon, Nord, Audiophonics or Boxem do in Europe. Serving the US/NA markets they are probably a magnitude bigger than the others. Read a lot of good customer experience about them, prices seems to be hot and build quality quite satisfying. I’ve heard you can customize everything about the amp as well. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
DuckToller
Define "everything"? They definitely got a wider range of options (like input Buffets & channels) than the European counterparts, thus I referenced to the bigger markets they serve. For @Jud's new Apollon amplifier, there would have been a couple of OP amps, more channels, binding posts, trigger and different design options available. However, not everyone want to make choices, even it is nice to have them. A winning formula seems to be the economies of scale that allows VTV to be very competitive in price even with more options than the competitors. Link to comment

While reviews advise that build quality is satisfactory, they also indicate that VTV's build quality is inferior to that of the four main European manufacturers or Australia's March Audio. However, you generally pay more for the latter unless you order VTV's expensive options. "Relax, it's only hi-fi. flowcharts
Those reviews were an ASR smear campaign perpetuated by March Audio. VTV construction is absolutely solid, with a bonus of being easily modifiable/upgradeable if that's of interest. Link to comment

John Hughes
It's been a while since I saw pricing of competiting European Purifi amps to the VTV, but I thought they were 2x + the price, they are not really an apple to apple comparison. And the VTV is very well built. Link to comment
