I need a good answer to this serious question from my 8 year old.

Is this Justin Bieber in the Pro-Ject ad that we just saw on this site?

A piece of advice from the heart.. If your son's becoming or not becoming an audiopervert like us depends on this (and he's a fan of Justin) - tell him the truth and do everything that may be necessary that he didn't become one. Even show him this forum. This is worse than cancer and covid taken together.. :D

Who is Justin Bieber?   If he recorded after 1970, I have little use for him.

Let me put it this way.....The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, I could go on but you get the picture.  Give your son the classics, not pink slime.

Sigh... Daughter. And she can listen to whatever she likes. Even the Frozen soundtrack on infinite repeat if she wants.

My eight year old daughter actually got me to listen to the new Taylor Swift album and it wasn't too bad - other than the insipid Bon Iver track.

👍 Let her listen to Frozen, Scandinavian death metal, even opera, let her fall for everybody, even a son of a Republican (;)), just don't let her become an audiophile.!

That's from the heart.

Actually, the two of them like vinyl much better than digital. I'm not sure why though, I should ask them.

IMO it's a serious question and it would indeed be good if you had an answer to it..

Being an analogue audiophile is probably even more fu... err.. weirder than being a digital one. The situation seems to be really bad.. You're aware of that, I hope..

Psychotherapy, maybe.?

8 of the 10 voices in my head say Vinyl is okay to listen to... the other 2 have nothing to do with music at all.
