botrytis
http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/audio-research-corporation-under-new-ownership/ I wonder what that means for the brand? As some of the new amps were aesthetically designed by a Sonus-Faber speaker designer. What do people think? AudioDoctor
I am curious about why they are being sold, and what this means for the companies future as well. No electron left behind. Link to comment
JoeWhip
I am probably in the minority but I don’t think this sale bodes well for the future of the brand. I was invited to a demo of their latest and greatest new designs a year or two ago at a very high end retailer and to say I, as well as the rest who went, were not impressed would be an understatement. I know the audio press seemed to be impressed, but when us common folk left the room in a flash.... so I am not surprised with this sale. Link to comment
Solstice380
It’s hard to own 2 high end (essentially competing) electronics brands. During any normal time, even. daverich4 1 https://audiophilestyle.com/profile/21384-solstice380/?tab=field_core_pfield_3 Link to comment
