I believe the OP is capable of using a screw driver if one is provided. He could probably replace the screws to resolve his cosmetic issues. The internal issue could be resolved by just using the component per the manufacturer’s intended use, i.e. placing it in one spot and using it rather than shaking it. 

I put all of my new, sensitive and expensive equipment on a paint mixer before using it just to make sure they got everything right and tight during assembly; doesn't everyone?

Chris, This should end. This guy obviously has an agenda here and it just doesn't seem right to continue to give him this platform to pursue it. This is just my opinion but the whole thing does not pass the smell test. I first saw his post on the Roon forum and then here and it is reportedly on several others. All this over a scratched screw and a rattle just does not add up. I am not going to speculate about motives but something more is going on here.

Do you have a link? Though I am done and have said enough, I can at least paste my factual rebuttal there once. Maybe the Roon mods took the thread down because searching there does not turn it up.

The greater danger now in my opinion is that more of this will be forthcoming if those who wish to pursue these types of agenda believe that this is a place that they can do it with impunity. It’s like when the UN allowed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak and deny the Holocaust. My mother in law hated it. I loved it. It showed how foolish he was to the whole world. 

I am not suggesting deleting the thread, just locking it. As I said, I see both points of view as options but of course the choice is yours to make. Thanks for listening.
