I haven't tried it, but a very reputable CA/Headfi contributor (who has tried all the usual suspects) told me it was brilliant. This, along with the upcoming SOtM switch (even more brilliant), could well be his end game combination to feed his BluDAVE.

 

It was only a brief converstion recently at CANJAM London, so  I don't have much more details, but it was enough for me to put both these new components to the top of my Must Try list.

With the TLS software and an OCXO, I can suppose this is a homerun streamer. Looking forward to the user experiences to appear.

Adrian told me current lead time is 4 weeks for a DS-1 because they are busy working on their pre-order backlog.  TLS will also be launching a tube DAC at RMAF.

I just got this from Adrian at TLS

We just sent our first batch to Asia distributor not much only 15 units and we are working more and to single customer to Paris as well.

Does anyone know the specs of the DS-1streamer?  There is very little in the way of technical information on their website.

 

I am thinking that it looks very much like the RAM booted AudioLinux NUC 7's that are being discussed over on the "novel" thread, but based on the information that is available it could be anything.  Are there any details anywhere?

Just got mail from them it should be ready to ship shortly and I’m hoping to get it soon. And sure will compare with the TLS DS-1 and sms200-ultra as soon as I get mine. Until than has my finger cross.
